Your insurer will issue, on written request, a copy of a form called “Proof of insurance” and/or an Insurance Binder, which states the type and scope of coverage issued and to whom it is issued. It usually also lists any exemptions in the coverage that the insurer may deem necessary. This applies in both the US and UK.
You would have done better just listing the name and number of your insurance company for those interested.
